It’s here fellas! The trailer of Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma starrer Sui Dhaaga is out and it’s the self-made story every commoner with dreams want to achieve. Varun Dhawan essays the role of Mauji who is out on a quest to stand on his own feet, thanks to Anushka Sharma who is playing the part of Mamta, a wife who can’t see her husband being ill-treated. The trailer correctly encapsulates their journey from being ‘unemployed to self-employed’ with the right dose of drama and it makes for an engaging watch.
Not just that, Varun Dhawan’s cute antics through out the sneak peek makes it even more endearing. Be it bearing a scissor and experimenting with it or pedal his way, while Anushka sits behind, to come across as a convincing tailor, he has sunk his teeth into the character and how! While that is that, Anushka Sharma clad in sarees, has embraced her character of a dutiful wife, without any glitch. In fact, it even gives PM Narendra Modi’s Make in India initiate the facelift it needed.
The film is highly anticipated because reunites the combo of Sharat Kataria and Maneesh Sharma, who have given us a gem like Dum Laga Ke Haisha. It is shot in Bhopal, Chanderi and Delhi. It is set to hit the screens on September 28 and will clash with Vishal Bhardwaj’s Pataakha at the box office.
