The film seems to be about a surprise shaadi
Rom-coms certainly have a charm of their own. You might not be too much in the mush and yet you would love to unwind with a glass of wine and a good ol’ rom-com after a tiring day at work. But while Hollywood has embraced the genre and made it their own, we, in Bollywood, have often clubbed rom-coms with other genres given our affinity towards family entertainers. But there’s hope as many filmmakers are now not shying away from investing their time in an out-and-out romantic comedy. And the latest one that is all set to stun us is Jabariya Jodi.
Starring Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra, the film seems to be about a surprise shaadi. Yup, you read that right! Just like you, even we are clueless as to what to make of it but we are hoping that the makers and the actors will shed some more light on the same in the coming days. Sharing an announcement video of the film, Sidharth tweeted:

Well, given how colourful the announcement video is, we can certainly expect the film to be a light-hearted and fun affair.
Sidharth and Parineeti have also paired up for a film in the past. They were a part of Hasee Toh Phasee, where they played a rather unusual couple, who eventually falls in love. However, their cute chemistry still didn’t go unnoticed since they have bagged another project together. Don’t know about you, but we are surely excited about this outing of the two. They make a good pair and their antics will surely amp up the fun in what seems to be an unusual tale.
Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures, the announcement video has made us quite impatient for the film now. And now that the film is on the floors, can we expect at least a teaser soon enough?
