Prabhas and Rana Daggubati‘s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has finally hit the screens in China and looks like it is off to a flying start. Released in 7000 plus screens, the movie has managed a fantastic opening occupancy, which has given it a blockbuster opening at the China box office. In fact, according to early trade reports, the movie has already crossed the $1 million mark in the morning shows on day 1 itself. So if you see a massive amount in Baahubali 2‘s kitty at the end of the opening day, don’t be surprised. Talking about this achievement, trade analyst and industry tracker – Ramesh Bala mentioned on Twitter, “Just In: #Baahubali2 has crossed $1 Million in #China.”
Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is one of India’s most historic films ever. For those of you who don’t know, the film went on a record breaking run across India and the world, when it released on April 28 last year. A year later, it has finally released in China and looking at the buzz and opening, we expect Baahubali 2 to break some more records. But will it be able to challenge the likes of Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Aamir Khan’s Dangal and Secret Superstar in China? Well, that’s something we will have to wait and watch out for.
