The biopic on Sanjay Dutt, starring Ranbir Kapoor, is all set to release a month from now. However, what has us more excited is the trailer launch scheduled to be tomorrow for it will finally offer us a glimpse into Rajkumar Hirani’s version of Dutt’s life. Unlike the teaser, that had only piqued our curiosity, we hope that the trailer of the film will have much more to offer, and also answer a few pertinent questions that we have. And it seems like we are not the only ones with questions. People from all across the country want to watch the trailer and find out for themselves as to what’s in store for them. Keeping this in mind, the makers of the film have planned a simultaneous release of the trailer, across five cities.
Yes, you read that right. Along with a press event in Mumbai, the trailer will also be launched at Delhi, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Kolkata. The trailer will be launched in all the cities at the same time via video conference where the media from across the nation will be able to get their questions answered. Now how cool is that? This will also increase the frenzy around the film, which is already quite high. We have been hearing great things about the trailer from those who have watched it.
Recently, when Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had an opportunity to watch Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in the Sanju trailer, they were startled to see his growth as an actor. “The way Rajkumar Hirani has presented Ranbir is the biggest superb thing, the boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I swear on (wife) Neetu and Ranbir, I did not think it was Ranbir, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt,” said Rishi after watching the trailer, read a statement. “You don’t know how emotionally triggered I am right now at the point where Vinod (Chopra) and Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) have shown me this trailer. The first appearance of Ranbir from the jail, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt,” he added.
