Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyan pay tribute to NTR on his 96th birthday.
27th May marks the 96th birth anniversary of late legendary actor-politician – Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. On this day one of the finest icons was born. Telugu cinema is immortalised thanks to phenomenal artist. He is synonymous with Tollywood, in fact the industry is not complete without his mention. To pay homage on his 96th birth anniversary, his grandsons – Nandamuri Kalyanram and Jr NTR pay tribute to their grandfather-actor. It’s also a day celebrated by millions of Nandamuri Fans. Yes, the icon boasts of a large legion of fan who now worship his sons and grandsons. After his successful career as an actor, he moved on to politics and excelled in that as well. He founded his own party – Telugu Desam party and also served as Chief Minister for those three terms.
Ad now finally a movie is being made on the legendary actor-politician. The movie will chronicle the life of the personality who ruled the masses and gave them something to remember. The movie was to be directed by Teja but due to creative differences Teja has walked. Now reports suggest Krrish will helm the project with Nanadmuri essaying his father’s role on screen. The makers launched the movie on a grand scale with Nandamuri dressed as Duryodhana in the opening shot. Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu was also part of this event.
Nandamuri Balakrishnan is one of his sons who has proved to be a successful actor. He has acted in about 100 films and boasts of a fanatic fan following. As for his grandsons, Jr NTR is currently one of the biggest superstars of Tollywood today and Nanadamuri Kalyan is a popular face in Telugu cinema.
