Here comes another poster of Sanju!
All Anushka Sharma fans can grab the opportunity to stare at their screens for as long as they want. The makers of Sanjay Dutt’s biopic, Sanju, have unveiled a new movie poster that sees Anushka is a never-seen-before avatar. With a curly bob, blue eyes and a charming smile, makers are teasing us about the character she plays. Movie director, Rajkumar Hirani, took to his Twitter account to share the Zero actress’ first look from the film and we must say, we are mighty impressed. The director, who has vowed to unveil a new character until its trailer launch on May 30, sure knows how to keep his word.
In one of her earlier interactions, when Anushka was asked to elaborate on the character that she plays in Sanju, she had said it’s a fictional one. “I am doing a cameo in the film but you all should be very excited for it. It will be a very good film. I am not playing his girlfriend, or a journalist, my character is the only fictional character in the film. It is not based on any living person that much I can tell,” Anushka had said in the interview. With so much secrecy around her character, we can’t wait for the makers to release the trailer tomorrow and clear the air.
Recently, when Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor had an opportunity to watch Ranbir Kapoor’sperformance in the Sanju trailer, they were startled to see his growth as an actor. “The way Rajkumar Hirani has presented Ranbir is the biggest superb thing, the boy has really done well. I am so proud of him. I swear on (wife) Neetu and Ranbir, I did not think it was Ranbir, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt,” said Rishi after watching the trailer, read a statement. “You don’t know how emotionally triggered I am right now at the point where Vinod (Chopra) and Raju (Rajkumar Hirani) have shown me this trailer. The first appearance of Ranbir from the jail, I thought it was Sanjay Dutt,” he added.
