Nayanthara's Kolamaavu Kokila is already creating records.
Nayanthara will soon be seen in Kolamaavu Kokila, a film that markets Nelson Dilipkumar. From the looks of the first poster, she plays an ordinary girl. While the official release date is yet to be out, the movie is already creating records. Last week, the first single – Kalyana Vayasu was out. The song was composed by Anirudh Ravichnader, the lyrics were written by Siva Karthikeyan and the single starred Nayanthara and Yogi Babu. It’s only been a week but the song is already topping the charts. Apart from Anirudh’s compotions, fans are loving Siva Karthikeyan’s quirky lyrics that ahve Anushka – Virat and Kaala references. To top it all, Yogi Babu’s concept of love is hilarious. All in all the song is now declared a hit. In fact it has clocked in a record breaking 5 million views. As trade expert Surendra MK mentions, this is a big number for a song from a woman- centric film. Looks like Kolamaavu Kokila is already breaking records even before its release. The song has also received flak for sounding similar to Sanan’s Don’t lie but here’s what Anirudh had to say:
This song was specially loved by Nayanthara’s beau – Vignesh Shivn. After the release of the song, he put a n adorable pic of him and Nayanthara and confessed that it was time to get married. He thanked Anirudh and Siva Karthikeyan for the right song. Do we hear wedding bells? The two have been dating for the past two years now. While they have not publicly admitted to being in a relationship,  their pictures on social media more than confirm their relationship.

Kolamaavu Kokila will be Nayanthara’s second woman-centirc film after Aramm Last year, Aramm created a furore for its powerful concept and Nayanthara’s credible performance. She single handedly carried the film on her shoulders. We can’t wait to find out what Kolamaavu Kokila has in store. The film revolves around the girl who finds herself in an extraordinary situation. Some reports suggest she plays a drug peddler because Kolkila means cocaine.
