Yes, the first picture of the diva at the prestigious event is out and we are so impressed. While other beautiful ladies have majorly opted for gowns at the festival, here we have Kangana in a bedazzling black saree. When it’s Kangana, you sure as hell can expect her to break the rut. With the gorgeous saree, makeup and hair done on point, the actress is surely reminding us of many evergreen Bollywood heroines from the ’70s.

For the day, Kangana was wearing a gorgeous Sabyasachi number. The designer shared the details of the outfit on his Instagram page. He wrote, “Kangana Ranaut @team_kangana_ranaut looks resplendent in an ultra-glamorous rendition of our famous ‘‘Aakash-tara’ (i.e. starry skies) saree. The saree is hand-dyed and embellished with hand-cut sequins that are individually sewn using zardosi technique, to create a metallic, yet fluid fabric.

She accessories her look with a Sabyasachi clutch and the ‘teenmaniya’ necklace, crafted out of rose-cut diamonds, Colombian emeralds and basra pearls from the Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry Collection.” [sic] Kangana was there to represent the country at the Indian Pavillion at Cannes.

The inauguration of Indian Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival 2018 was held earlier today. With a strong delegation from the country, the agenda this year is to showcase diversity in films of our country while furthering collaborations with various other countries. We also saw Huma Qureshi making an appearance at Cannes earlier in the day.
