A year ago on this day, Duqluer Salmaan announced the arrival of his baby girl – “Today is unforgettable in more ways than one. My life just changed forever. We’ve been blessed with a drop of heaven. At long last my biggest dream came true. I got my princess. Amu got a mini version of herself.” To think Duqluer Salmaan, the heartthrob of Malayalam Cinema had become a father. Ever since he has been sharing adorable pics of her socks, her ballets shoes and her tiny hands. On his wife Amal’s birthday we caught the first glimpse of the little cherub. And now, a year later Duluqer is celebrating his princess’ now called Maryam Ameerah Salmaan’s first birthday. How time has flown!

On the work front, Duqluer is now gearing up for his big Tollywood debut – Mahanati. The film will chronicle the life of yesteryear Telugu actress – Savithri. Stepping into her shoes is Keerthy Suresh. Dulquer Salmaan will be taking on the role of Gemini Ganesan, Savithri’s husband. Dulquer has dubbed for the first time in Telugu for this film. The movie will also release in Tamil as Nadigaiyar Thilagam. The movie also stars Vijay Devarakonda, Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film is directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie is set to release on May 9th.
