The new poster of Veere Di Wedding is here
When we are all waiting for the first trailer of Veere Di Wedding, which will be unveiled in two days (April 25), the makers are teasing us by dropping another poster today. It features the four heroines – Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talasania, who are all looking radiant. They are all in their pajamas, having fun while probably getting ready for the wedding. But our attention is on the picture frame on the wall. You see, the picture is the poster of Ekta Kapoor’s (who is one of the producers of the film) cult TV show, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, which is one of the longest running daily soaps on Indian television, running from 2000-2008 and completing 1833 episodes. It featured Smriti Irani, who played the role of the protagonist Tulsi Virani. It’s quite clear that the ladies are a fan of the show, and there will be a lot of jokes on it in the film.

The first poster of Veere Di Wedding was released last year in November and was well-received by fans. Indian cinema can sure use a good chick flick at the moment, and Veere Di Wedding looks like the perfect one. The girls recently shot for a special song, which also features Badshah. From the little that we know, this song in question is tentatively titled Tareefan. It’s basically going to be a role reversal that’ll show 4 instances of girls taking on roles stereo-typically assumed by their male counterparts.
