Deepika Padukone finally clears all the air surrounding her marriage rumours with beau Ranveer Singh
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are Bollywood’s most loved couple but will they ever accept their relation in public? They prefer being tight lipped about their affair story but have no qualms walking hand-in-hand at various social events. Probably they want us to read between the lines since making an announcement is just so cliched, right? After Anushka Sharma ended 2017 with a bang after making her sudden wedding announcement with beau Virat Kohli, DeepVir fans started speculating if they would follow the same footsteps. Soon we heard stories of the couple tying the knot this year and how Deepika’s family has already started shopping for their wedding trousseau.
We had earlier EXCLUSIVELY revealed that there are no wedding bells ringing for this couple yet and seems we were right all this while. In her recent chat with popular film critic, Rajeev Masand, Deepika clears all the air surrounding her wedding stories and reveals if there was any truth behind it in the first place? When Rajeev Masand asks her about the “big news” lying ahead, she just says, “I liked the way you just threw that in (the mariage question), good attempt, but NO Rajeev.” We wonder what did the ‘no’ mean here! Was it for his attempt to make her reveal if she’s actually getting married or did she really clarify that none of those stories are true? A lot has been said and discussed about Deepika and Ranveer’s so – called marriage. While the stars have refused to divulge any details, their fans continue to speculate the big mystery. But with Deepika’s recent statement, we can hear many bubbles bursting and many hearts shattering.
Taking his chat further, Rajeev Masand asks the actress how will she know when she wants to get married and Deepika has quite a sorted reply to it. She says, “When it is time, I think I will know it. But as an institution, I think it is extremely important because that’s the way I have been raised. It is extremely important for me to see myself like that. It is every girl’s dream. I have always followed my instincts and I think I will feel it when I am ready or when it has to happen.” Quite a clear reply we must say. So guess, the statement was enough to draw conclusions and realise that there is NO wedding for the Bajirao Mastani couple as of now. But we can always hope for the best.
Deepika also doesn’t have any new announced project but it has nothing to do with her wedding. She is in fact recovering from a severe slip disc; which is the main reason why all her work commitments have taken a back seat. As far as Ranveer is concerned, he has quite a few films lined up right from Gully Boy to Rohit Shetty’s Simmbaa. So, there’s no wedding on the cards yet…
