Abhay Deol on his role in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero: I didn’t have much to do

Abhay Deol's role will be interesting in Shah Rukh Khan's Zero.

Abhay Deol‘s inclusion in Shah Rukh Khan‘s Zerofetched a huge response. However, there should have been no surprise there. You see, he has been part of Rai’s Happy Bhag Jayegi and will be seen in the sequel as well. He also had a really important role to play in Dhanush’s debut Hindi film, Raanjhanaa. So, it’s only obvious for the director to get his favourite actor to act in Zero as well. According to reports, he is playing Katrina Kaif’s love interest in the film, who will ditch her eventually, which will turn the actress into a lovesick woman. Now we know a bit about his role in the film. Talking to PTI, he said, “I have a cameo in Zero, it’s very brief, I didn’t have much to do, I did have a scene with Shah Rukh and of course Katrina. I don’t think I can say much about it now. It was nice to see her again after Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.”

You might remember the picture of Katrina and Abhay that the actress had posted on her Insta story on his birthday. That could be the day he canned his scenes for the film. The lady is presently shooting for SRK’s ambitious project, where he plays a midget. She has been posting pictures from the sets and keeping conversation on the film alive. Well, Abhay had a cameo in Raanjhanaa too and managed to wow us even in the limited space. We are pretty sure even in Zero, whatever be the length of his role, he will be able to leave everyone impressed. Good actors have a way… they are always great in front of the camera, irrespective of the film. 

Abhay will also be seen in Nanu Ki Jaanu, which stars Patralekha opposite him. It is in the horror comedy space, which has become pretty popular after Golmaal Again.
