Rajinikanth wishes you Happy Holi!
OMG! We have a happy smiling picture of Thalaiva Rajinikanth and that too with colours of Holi splashed all over his face. For this lovely picture we have to thank his daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth. She shared a page from an otherwise private person, Rajini’s life. Seems like the family enjoyed a lot on this festive day. In the picture posted by the producer-director, we don’t see any wet colours or water, so we can assume that the family opted for a nature-friendly dry Holi. Way to go!
Currently, Rajinikanth is trending on internet all over as the first teaser of his upcoming film Kaala has been released. In 12 hours the magnificent teaser has clocked 5 million views on YouTube and is on its way to beat the record set by Mersal.
Talking about Rajinikanth, Soundarya has said in an interview, “He is a very simple human being. He never forgot where he came from. As his children, my sister Aishwarya and I learnt this from him — to never forget our roots. With our dad, there are no two faces. What you see is what he is. Whether it’s a fan or a producer, he treats them all the same. He has been down to earth all his life. He will never change. We, as his children, try to emulate that trait of our dad.”
Soundarya Rajinikanth’s last outing as a director was VIP 2 featurinh Dhanush and Kajol. Commenting on the nepotism debate, Soundarya has weighed in, “With star children there is extra pressure because there is so much of expectation from us that if we fall than coming back up is all the more difficult. So, I think at the end of the day it’s just talent and if you have it in you, you are going to last irrespective of where you come from.”
