Amidst Padmavat controversy, Ranveer Singhwas spotted prepping up for his upcoming Zoya Akhtar movie Gully Boy. This will be his second venture with Zoya and the actor has left no stone unturned to make the movie successful. Recently, Ranveer was caught uploading a glimpse of his Gully Boy rap and now, a picture lands on internet of him chilling with the rappers. Sometimes back, he was also caught in rapping battle with the Mumbai rappers at Mahim. Now, the actor puts up a picture with rappers Divine, Kaaam Bhaari and gang and wrote, “Y’already know #gullyboys @ntnmshra @kaaam_bhaari @vivianakadivine.” Isn’t it cool? Ranveer has already started getting into the character and gearing up for the film which will go on the floors this month and will release in 2018. Ranveer’s Gully Boy is one of the much-awaited movies of this year. Gully Boy is inspired by the life of two Mumbai rappers – Rapper Naezy aka Naved Shaikh and Rapper Divine aka Vivian Fernandes. His most controversial movie Padmavat will finally release on January 25 and it will clash with Akshay Kumar’s PadMan at the box office. Post Gully Boy’s wrap up, Ranveer will concentrate on Kabir Khan’s 1983 world cup film. The film is tentatively titled 83. Ranveer will be playing the role of legendary cricketer and former skipper, Kapil Dev, in the film.
