Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra called off their on and off relationship last year and the actress is now seen hanging out with ex-boyfriend Ali Dadarkar. The breakup rumours of Sid and Alia surfaced on the internet during the promotions of his film A Gentleman. Sid’s closeness with his co-star Jacqueline Fernandez was rumoured to be the reason behind the break up but watching Alia bond with Jacky made us think otherwise. Later, Alia’s closeness with Varun Dhawan was believed to be the reason for the split. The ex-lovers were then snapped at Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday bash at Alibaug and Alia was also seen donning Sid’s t-shirt. Post that the couple was seen arriving together for Deepika Padukone’s Padmavati bash. Their pictures together made us believe that the two are back being a couple but that surely wasn’t the case.

Alia and Ali were dating before the actress made her Bollywood debut and now are often snapped together. A source told Bollywoodlife that the two have maintained their friendship all these years as they share a bunch of mutual friends. Alia was in touch with Ali even when she was dating Sidharth. Post her breakup with Sid, Alia did not feel the need to hold back and keep her friendship with Ali under wraps. she even posted a picture with him on Insta with the hashtag BFFS. The two have bonded over the last couple of days as they were seen attending the wedding of a common friend in the city.
