It’s been a really tiring phase for Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and everyone associated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat. What started off as a minor regional protest unfortunately led to a series of threatening events with the film getting banned from release for over a month. Some states like Rajasthan and Gujurat are still adamant on not screening the film despite Supreme Court lifting the ban. However, despite all the fuss and opposition, the fact Padmaavat is finally hitting theatres tomorrow is enough to breathe a sigh of relief; precisely also the reason why you can see Ranveer and Deepika’s such happy faces as they stepped out for the first screening .

All the reviews of Padmaavat so far are positive and way too compelling for anyone to watch first day first show. Ranveer of course is winning maximum praises for his terrific performance as Allaudin Khiji while Deepika’s beauty has left many mesmerised. Shahid’s honest act and the conviction with which he’s become the king is worth applauding. As our movie critic said, “The film is a visual delight and deserves a watch just for the beauty of its frames. Whether it’s the introduction of Jalaluddin Khilji or Deepika’s entry or the view of the Darbar of Alauddin, every shot leaves you awestruck.
