It's confirmed! Tik Tik Tik is all set to release on 26th January.

It’s now official! The first ever space film, Tik Tik Tik starring Jayam Ravi is set to release on Republic Day. The film has been cleared with a U certificated. The movie is reportedly 131 minutes. Fans are thrilled considering 2018 will see the release of a one of kind film. Right from its first poster to its riveting trailer, the movie has garnered huge buzz. The story goes that – a certain gifted magician-escape artists along with his troupe is set to save planet Earth from a monstrous asteroid. For that, they need to secure a missle that will help them with their mission. Whether they manage to pull off this bravado act is what forms the rest of the story. The film is helmed by Shakti Rajan, who also gave South cinema their first Zombie film. That’s why there are high expectations from this eccentric director.

The film also stars Nivetha Pethuraj. In an interview with us, she talked of a gruesome injury she faced while shooting for the film – “While doing a climax stunt, I was on the harness, and I had to fly. When I reached a vessel in the scene, something ripped my thumb, and I could see my muscle and thumb bone. When Jayam Ravi and others on the sets advised me to get back to the caravan and take some rest, I didn’t go. To be honest, it didn’t hurt much, and I wanted to finish the scene also I have this phobia of wasting other people’s time. Then Ravi and the team applied me some first aid, and we proceeded with the shoot. Once the scene was successfully shot, I came to my caravan and cried uncontrollably.

Interestingly, Tik Tik  Tik might face a clash from Bhaagmathie and Padmaavat’s Tamil and Telugu version. Will this unique space film be able to hold its own?
