Marvel’s Ant-Man has had two successful runs in the MCU universe. One was his solo adventure, Ant-Man, that told us the origin story in 2015 and then he appeared in the vastly designed Captain America: Civil War. In the second outing, Ant-Man is caught by the federation and locked up. “You would have never been caught”, says Wasp, asserting that he would have been safer if she was invited to the fight, in the new trailer of the next instalment in the Ant-Man storyline. Yes, the first exhilarating trailer of Ant-Man and the Wasp has made its debut on the internet.

It was teased at the end of the first Ant-Man film that Paul Rudd’s masked superhero will get a partner in Evangeline Lily in the next series. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the Lost star to put on the shrinking suit and fight the world ever since. With the first look at her superhero avatar, The Wasp, at hand we can say that the wait has paid off well. The trailer is badass as it gets and the shrinking technology is not limited just to suits.

It was a surprise when we saw Ant-Man reversed the shrinking and became a giant in Civil War. He will be using the tech once again in this film. The Wasp, apart from the ability to shrink, also comes with a pair of wings and blasters. Something that Paul Rudd is extremely envious of. In the trailer, apart from superheroes, buildings and cars are also being shrunk. One scene involves Hank Pym transporting an entire building like a suitcase after shrinking it. Now, that will be a visual delight on the big screen.
Ant-Man and The Wasp has been directed by Peyton Reed and stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Peña and Academy Award winner Michael Douglas, who all return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe alongside, Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris and David Dastmalchian who also reprise their supporting roles. The highly-anticipated follow-up has also added Academy Award nominees Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, along with Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins and Randall Park to the ensemble cast.
