Allu Arjun's DJ clocked in 100M views on Youtube in the dubbed version.
Allu Arjun is one of the most popular stars in Telugu cinema. He boasts of a staggering fan base that could give many actors a run for their money. The actor in recent news has yet again proved that he is a force to reckon with in the Tollywood industry. As per the latest update, DJ, Allu Arjun’s last film has clocked in a whopping 100M views on Youtube in the Hindi version. This is not the first time, an Allu Arjun film in its dubbed version has garnered record breaking views. His 2016 film Sarrainodu also clocked in the unbelievable number! This is a testament to Allu Arjun’s fan craze across languages! DJ also starred Pooja Hegde.
The movie hit theatres on June 23, 2017. The movie on its release opened to mixed reviews. Certain reports suggest the film, fared well at the box office, while certain other news suggests the movie did not fare as expected. However Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde‘s dance moves were highly praised. The fact that Allu Arjun is a dancer is old news, but it was impressive to see Pooja Hegde keep up with the actor, with such style and swag. In fact their song, Seeti Maar has so far clocked in 40 million views.
The actor will be seen next in a patriotic film – Na Peru Surya Naa. He reportedly will play a soldier with anger management issues. The actor in fact underwent training for a month in US for this role. A recent still gave us a glimpse of his completely new avatar for this movie. The film will be directed by Vakkantham Vamsi, who wrote the script for Kick. Arjun Sarja, R Sarathkumar and Anu Emmanuel will also be part of this film. The first single Sainika composed by the popular Vishal Shekhar duo has become a rage! The film is expected to wrap up in a few weeks.
The makers were looking at an April 27th release but there has been no offical announcement regarding the same.
