We couldn't shake off this coincidence.
Veere Di Wedding is one film we all are excited about. Bollywood doesn’t really give much attention to a film which only has women in the lead. In fact, more often than not, women-centric films have always showcased a social cause or slam a traditional belief. There are hardly films that are made for pure entertainment with ladies in the lead. Thus, it makes us even more excited about the film. But we are also amused with the timing. The poster comes out at a time when wedding news about Sonam Kapoor is doing the rounds. Isn’t it just apt to release a new poster of a film which is all about weddings when your own nuptials are being discussed? We say, Touché!
The new poster is not too different from the ones that were released earlier. If you remember, the previous ones had the four girls – Sonam Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania getting ready for a big wedding. The first one had them getting ready for the day with the women wearing some of the most beautiful lehengas we have seen in recent times and the second one had them dancing as baraatis. If news is to be believed, Sonam is getting married to London-based businessman, Anand Ahuja, in April. It will be a Jodhpur wedding. Rumours are abuzz that the Kapoor ladies have already started scouting for the perfect wedding attire for Sonam. Well, we just couldn’t miss the coincidence here.
