We cannot think of a better guest than Priyanka to kick off the series as she is such an inspiration
Priyanka Chopra is back in town. As per reports, she will be staying in the country for a month before flying off to New York to resume shooting for her projects in the west. Shye has already made a couple of public appearances much to our delight and the next one in line is here already. She shot for the premiere episode of the upcoming reality show, India’s Next Superstars. The show is being judged by Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty. And we cannot think of a better guest than Priyanka to kick off the series as she is such an inspiration to any aspiring actor in the world. In fact, she won’t be just judging the show but also will be seen performing.
Mumbai Mirror quoted a source as saying, “Besides judging the first episode and giving contestants advice on making it in Bollywood, Priyanka is also expected to perform on some of her hit numbers including Desi Girl from Dostanaand Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadkne Do.”
The first batch of pictures from the shooting of the premiere episode is out and we are loving it. Priyanka is looking stunning in a pretty blue dress as she poses with the two dapper men. Check out the pics here:
Talking about her Bollywood films, Priyanka confirmed that she was approached for the Rakesh Sharma biopic where Aamir Khan was supposed to play the title role. “It was one of those scripts,” she said.The film will be produced by Sidharth Roy Kapur and Mahesh Mathai. But after Aamir walked out of the film, which was to begin shooting in 2019, Priyanka, too, has opted out of the project.
Priyanka is currently shooting for the third season of her series, Quantico, in New York. She has also made her Hollywood debut, earlier this year, with Baywatch, starring alongside biggies like Zac Efron, Dwayne Johnson. The actress has shot for two more films which are scheduled to release soon. One of those films is A Kid Like Jake with Jim Parsons, Claire Danes, Octavia Spencer and the other one is Isn’t it Romanticwith Rebel Wilson, Adam DeVine, Liam Hemsworth.
