Actress trisha, who is one of the busiest actresses in K’town right now with a flurry of projects in her kitty, has signed yet another film. Titled Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, the movie will be directed by Thiru Gnanam and produced by 24HRS.

“She has been the reigning queen of South Indian industry for more than 15 years and is still getting bigger with her realms. The film’s shooting commenced recently in Arcot at a 200-yr old palace like mansion, where King Aurangzeb dwelled before centuries. The first schedule will happen for 15 days and will have the other schedules have been planned without breaks. Nandha and Richard are playing important roles in the movie, which has musical score by Amresh,” read an official statement from the team.

RD Rajashekar handles the cinematography of the film, which Trisha had reportedly signed three months back. Trisha was recently in the news for opting out of Vikram – director Hari’s Saamy Square, which is a sequel to the duo’s blockbuster hit Saamy. Trisha essayed the role of Vikram’s wife in Saamy, which was one of the trendsetting cop films a few years back. She had walked out of Saamy Square, which has Keerthy Suresh as the main lead heroine, citing creative differences with the team.

Trisha also has horror film Mohini, coming-of-age-drama 96 with Vijay Sethupathi, breezy romantic comedy Hey Jude with Nivin Pauly, thriller drama 1818 and road thriller Garjanai in the pipeline. While Hey Jude marks her foray into the Malayalam film industry, 1818 is inspired by the events of the 2008 Mumbai attacks. Garjanai is also believed to be the unofficial remake of super-hit Hindi thriller NH10, which starred Anushka Sharma in the lead role. In fact, Trisha has nearly 6 projects at hand..you can imagine why she is the most sought after actress down South.
