Superstar rajinikanth may soon pay a visit to the Babaji cave in the magnificent Himalayas, his favourite destination. Whenever Rajinikanth completes his professional commitments, he usually takes a brief sojourn to the Himalayas to unwind. This time, he has constructed a small ashram for Babaji devotees to stay in the mountains.

“Rajinikanth and his friends VS Hari, VD Moorthy, Lawyer Vishwanathan, Sridhar Rao, Dr. Thileepan, Vaideeswaran (Mumbai) have built “Sri Babaji Dhyana Nilayam” – an ashram-cum-house for devotees to stay and do meditation near Sri Babaji cave in the Himalayas. After doing the pooja at Babaji Cave, a grand Graha Pravesam has been held at “Sri Babaji Dhyana Nilayam” recently. Superstar Rajinikanth will be visiting “Sri Babaji Dhyana Nilayam” soon according to his friends,” read a statement.

Sources say Rajinikanth will soon be completing some pending patchwork portions for Kaala directed by Kabali filmmaker Pa. Ranjith. He is also expected to complete the dubbing work for director Shankar’s magnum-opus 2.0, which is currently in the post-production stage. Produced by Lyca Productions, 2.0 was initially slated to hit screens on January 25th, 2018 and has now been pushed to April for the Tamil New Year festival due to a post-production delay in the film.

2.0 features Akshay Kumar in the role of a villain. He plays Dr. Richard in the film, which also features Amy Jackson in a pivotal role. The makers will release the third track of the film composed by AR Rahman in December. The song, which talks about the love human beings have for birds, has lyrics penned by late lyricist Na. Muthukumar.
