Dhruva Natchathiram Starring Chiyaan Vikram Will Release In April 2018, Reveals Gautham Menon

Ace filmmaker gautham menon has revealed the plot of vikram‘s spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram in a recent interaction to a Tamil magazine. Talking about the plot, he said, “The movie revolves around nine agents who are responsible for our national security and protect it from foreign forces. I’m planning to make it as a trilogy and release the film as a three-part franchise. Dhruva Natchathiram will hit the screens in April 2018, and the next two parts will be released in the coming years.” Also Read: Dhruva Natchathiram posters: Chiyaan Vikram is making heads turn with his stylish avatars.

Gautham Menon has also said that the shooting of his long-pending romance thriller Enai Nokki Paayum Thota starring Dhanush and Megha Akash will be wrapped up soon. “We have only 15 days of shooting left. We are planning to release ENPT, a month after Dhruva Natchathiram hits the screens,” said Gautham.

Produced by Ondraga Entertainment, Dhruva Natchathiram has Vikram playing the role of an international investigative officer. The movie also has Aishwarya Rajesh and the Pelli Choopulu fame actress Ritu Varma who was last seen in a brief appearance in Dhanush’s Velai Illa Pattathaari 2 directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Also starring Parthiepan, Simran and Radhika Sarathkumar in important roles, Dhruva Natchathiram has music composed by Harris Jayaraj. Currently, the movie is being shot by Santhana Krishnan, the son of veteran cinematographer Ravi K Chandran. Earlier, Manoj Paramahamsa and Jomon T. John, best known for his work in Charlie and Ennu Ninte Moideen, worked on the project as a cinematographer for a few portions before walking out citing other professional commitments.

Gautham Menon has also confirmed that he has signed Anushka Shetty for his next project, which will be a multi-starrer featuring four different heroes from four south industries. While Puneeth Rajkumar has been signed from Kannada and Fahadh Faasil has been roped in from Malayalam, the actors from Tamil and Telugu are yet to be finalized.
