deepika padukone gets the sweetest farewell from the padmavati team.
padmavati is slated to release on December 1 and deepika padukone has just wrapped her shoot. She plays the titular character and has left everyone enchanted with the way she has slipped into the role. The trailer and the Ghoomar song have already made everyone crazy about the film. She has finally done shooting her portions and the crew got a delicious looking cake for her which had Ranisa written on it.
You might be a bit baffled that a film which is releasing in exactly one month is still getting shot. Well, Padmavati has been through a lot. The film has been attacked by people who claimed it showed Rani Padmavati in poor light without even watching the film. They acted on hearsay and created a lot of trouble for the film. After going through such upheavals, the film is still ready to be viewed and what we saw in the trailer gives us an inkling that it will be spectacular. But yes the film is still getting shot. Only today Mumbai Mirror reported that Ranveer is shooting a song with Jim Sarbh which is called Khalli Balli. It will have 200 dancers. Talks also suggest that choreographer Ganesh Acharya wanted to wrap it up in two takes but perfectionist SLB finalised Ranveer’s moves, only after 10 takes.

Deepika and Shahid Kapoor play the King and Queen in the film while Ranveer is the supervillain. This is one film everyone is banking on right from Trade to the filmmakers.
