Anushka Shetty Just Gave Us The Scare On The Eve Of Her Birthday!

Anushka Shetty will grow a year smarter, prettier and talented tomorrow but we already have a treat for you. The first look of her next film Bhaagamathie was released couple of minutes back and we have to tell you, it did give us the chills. Anushka can be seen standing glued to a wall carrying a hammer in one hand while the palm of her other hand has been literally nailed to the wall. It’s bloody, gory and extremely scary to see. It is a modern day thriller starring Unni Mukundan and Jayaram and Asha Sarath along with Anushka. This will be Unni’s second film after Janatha Garage. The film has been directed by G Ashok and will be produced under the UV Creations banner. The film will be bi-lingual release in Tamil and Telugu. The film is set for release this August 2017.

Post Baahubali 2, we have been waiting for a new film of Anushka. There were talks of her being in Prabhas’ Saaho but was later replaced by Shraddha Kapoor. Of course, we would have loved to see them together once again after delivering the year’s highest grossing movie but guess we will have to wait some more. Bhaagamathie’s plot has been kept under wraps. There are reports that Anushka plays an IAS officer in the film but looking at the poster we wonder if it’s true after all.

Anushka will also join her Baahubali co-star Tamannah Bhatia in Gautham Menon’s film. In fact, we were the first ones to tell you that Shetty has been signed for the film. A source had informed us, “It’s true that Anushka will collaborate with Gautham Menon. But, it’s for a multi-starrer project that Gautham has been planning for the past one year. It’s tentatively titled ‘Ondraga.’ The film will star four different heroes from four different south industries.”

So all you Anushka fans, there will be lot of films from this lady in the coming months.
