It's A Reunion For Anushka Shetty And Tamannaah Bhatia, If Not For Prabhas And Anushka!

The grapevine in Kodambakkam is abuzz with hot rumours that anushka shetty, an actress who has earned a sizeable fan following and carved a niche for herself in both Tamil and Telugu film industries with some incredible performances, is in talks with filmmaker Gautham Menon. Sources added that it would be a women-centric bilingual project in Tamil and Telugu.

However, when we got in touch with a source close to the Gautham Menon’s camp, they ultimately denied the report as a baseless rumour.  “It’s true that Anushka will collaborate with Gautham Menon. But, it’s for a multi-starrer project that Gautham has been planning for the past one year. It’s tentatively titled ‘Ondraga.’ The film will star four different heroes from four different south industries,” the source said.

Earlier, Simbu, Sai Dharam Tej, Puneeth Rajkumar and Prithviraj were reported to play the four lead roles. Prithviraj had even confirmed that the team had already paid him an advance. Now, the source informs that both Simbu and Sai Dharam Tej are out of the film and the makers are on the lookout for proper replacements for the same. Gautham Menon has confirmed a few months back that Anushka Shetty and tamannaah bhatia have given their consent to be a part of the film.

While ‘Ondraga’ will mark Anushka’s second outing with Gautham Menon after Thala Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal, it will be the first-time collaboration between Tamannaah and Gautham. It must be noted that Tamannah will be acting in the official Tamil remake of Pellichoopulu, titled ‘Pon Ondru Kanden’ which is being produced by Gautham Menon.

Anushka Shetty is currently awaiting the release of Tamil, Telugu bi-lingual film Bhagmati, which is in the post-production stage. The makers are planning to release the film in December or early 2018.
