Mahesh’s next with koratala siva, Bharat Ane Nenu has announced of its official release date – 27th April, 2018. Summer just got more happening! Interestingly, Baahubali: The Conclusion released on April 28th, 2017. What was an ordinary, non-festive release date suddenly found new importance after Baahubali 2’s phenomenal release. The movie went on for three months post its release. While obviously the magnum opus is the reason for it more than release date, it won’t be surprising if summer releases become a fad after this film. And now it seems it has, because Mahesh Babu’s next will release around the same time! Will Bharat Ane Nenu become the Baahubali of 2018? Thta remains to be seen.
Mahesh Babu ‘s last film with Koratala Siva was a BIG hit! The film apart from receiving positive reviews fared brilliantly at the box office. Mahesh Babu in fact won his third SIIMA for this film. It’s no wonder fans are excited about this actor-director coming together. This time, the film will be set against a political backdrop. Reportedly, Mahesh Babu will take on the role of CM. The film also stars Kiara Advani. The actor has signed on two other films, one with Vamsi Paidipally, and another with SS Rajamouli!
The Telugu actor was last seen in SPYDER, a high octane actioner wherein he played a spy agent who tried to save the city from a psychotic killer. SJ Suryah played the lead antagonist while Rakul Preet Singh played the loved interest. The film marked Mahesh Babu’s Kollywood debut as SPYDER released in Tamil and Telugu. The film also marked the first collaboration of Mahesh and AR Murugadoss. The movie performed phenomenally overseas but it received mixed reviews on the local front. Reports suggest the film crossed the Rs 150 crore mark but no official announcement has been made regarding the same.
