Check Out Deepika Padukone's First Look From Padmavati Song Ghoomar!
Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh And Shahid Kapoor‘s Padmavati is one of the most anticipated films of the year. After stunning everyone with such a fantastic trailer, the makers are all set to release the first song – Ghoomartoday. The traditional Rajasthani dance will feature the beautiful Deepika as Rani Padmini and we have to say we can’t wait for this one. We got hold of the first look of the actress from the song and we are sure you will not be able to take your eyes off of her! DP looks stunning in a traditional saree. In fact, the jewelry and diyas in her hands uplift the beauty of the image, however it’s her eyes and unibrow that will grab all your attention. And don’t be worried if you end up staring at Deepika’s picture, because she looks damn gorgeous.
For those of you who don’t know, ghoomar is a traditional dance form that is performed by the princesses and queens of Rajasthan. The moves are very gracious and elegant. The dance form involves twirling in circles with coordinated hand movements and footwork. From what we hear, Deepika will perform 66 twirls in the song!
In fact, deepika started Padmavati’s shoot with Ghoomar and she can’t forget the first shot as she felt the spirit of the queen on the set. As she mentioned to Hindustan Times, “The shooting of the film began with this song and I’ll never forget that day. I remember approaching my mark for the first shot. It was almost as if Padmavati’s soul had entered my body. I could feel her presence; and, in fact, I still do. It’s one of those rare moments in an actor’s life where it’s going to take a very long time before it actually leaves the system.”
