Bobby Deol joins Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez’s Race 3

Off late there have been a lot of speculations about the third lead in the salman khan–jacqueline fernandez starrer Race 3. From Sidharth Malhotra, Aditya Roy Kapur to Aditya Pancholi there were reports of them in contention for a role but turns out it is bobby deol  who has bagged the part.

Ramesh Taurani, the producer of the film will be working with Bobby Deol for the third time after Soldier (1998) and Naqaab (2007) told Mirror, “I have worked with Bobby earlier and both Soldier and Naqaab were a great experience. He is an absolute delight to work with, very professional and a really nice guy. He will be styled differently in the film and you will see him in a never seen before avatar.” 

When he was further asked about Bobby’s character in the film, he said, “In Race, all characters are grey. You will have to watch the film to figure out what exactly each one is playing.”

As far as the reports of actors being part of Race 3 is concerned, Taurani said, “Many names are floating around but only these three actors are confirmed. The rest will be announced whenever they are confirmed.” 

Earlier it was reported that Amitabh Bachchan was approached for a role in the film which he refused and according to a report in DNA after hrs, “Big B already has given his October and November dates for the football biopic – Jhund. The Race 3 team plans to begin their shoot around the same time. The clash of dates meant that Bachchan had to choose one and since he had already given his dates to Jhund, he politely turned down Race 3.”
