Sanjay Dutt Will Make A Cameo Appearance In His Own Biopic
Only some partnerships are fruitful enough in B-town. But one of the most successful ones is that of filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani and actor, Sanjay Dutt. The two have successfully delivered hits in the form of the two films in the Munnabhai series. His cameo appearance in PK, where he played a small but crucial role, also didn’t go unnoticed. Needless to say, this has encouraged the duo to collaborate more often.
And what better project to get together for than a biopic on Sanjay Dutt himself. It is no longer a secret that Hirani is making a biopic on the life of the actor and that Ranbir Kapoor is essaying the role. In fact, we have had surprised galore everytime Ranbir stepped out looking more and more like Sanjay. A few leaked pictures from the sets of the film has us convinced that the actor will do complete justice to the role and that the film will be one of those rare gems that we would want to watch over and over again. However, as if all these reasons weren’t enough, the makers of the Dutt biopic have given us yet another reason to look forward to the film in the form of Sanjay Dutt’s cameo.
Yes, you read that right. If reports by a leading daily are to be believed, then Sanjay Dutt will make a cameo appearance in his own biopic. While earlier the makers of the film had denied any scope to feature him in the film, they seem to have now realised the manner in which it might positively impact the film’s collections. Also, the presence of Sanjay in the film will lend it a touch of authenticity, validating the entire plot as original. While Dutt had always maintained that he had complete trust in Rajkumar Hirani, it will indeed be a stamp of approval for the audience.
