like every time, manish malhotra held a small bash post lakme fashion week where he invited all his close friends from the industry. many made sure that they are there to support him during the show and revel in his joy after the show.

Lakme Fashion Week Winter ’17 may not have been the most glamorous fashion week but the finale sure was memorable. Like every season, this time too Manish Malhotra brought together a new pair of celebrities to walk for him as showstoppers. jacqueline fernandez and aditya roy kapur were his new muse and they surely got all eyes on them as they walked the ramp with impeccable panache. In fact, they continued their fashionable stride all the way to the designer’s residence too as they partied the success of the show. Like every time, Malhotra held a small bash where he invited all his close friends from the industry. Many made sure that they are there to support him during the show and revel in his joy after the show. Karisma Kapoor, Amrita Arora Ladak, Sophie Choudhary, Richa Chadda, Sridevi, Khushi Kapoor, Diana Penty, Pooja Hegde, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dia Mirza, Karan Johar, Shriya Saran, sushant singh rajput, Neha Dhupia and many more attended the party.

While we’d usually expect his favourites Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kajol, Alia Bhatt and others, it was a tad bit surprising that they didn’t show up for the bash. Perhaps they were super busy with their schedules that they had to miss it. Anyway, the other celebs ensured that the vogue remains untouched in the sacred abode of Manish Malhotra. They all looked very striking as they left from his place. Although Jacky looked impeccable on the ramp, can’t say the same about her ensemble for the bash. It seemed a little too out there. In fact, her outfit gave a more dancer touch and not in a good way. The biggest turn off though was the black scarf she had wrapped around her neck. On the other hand, Karan’s doodled jacket became our instant favourite. You really need to have the right balance of colours and elements to pull off such a look. For the finale, both Jacqueline and Aditya donned lovely creations by the designer. With a futuristic theme and background set, the showstoppers wore something that very well deserves to be your next cocktail party ensemble. Jacky donned a sheer applique gown with a gorgeous slit while Aditya wore a dapper black suit. We usually expect a lot more from Manish so this was a little underwhelming but the duo certainly made the look work with utmost attitude.
