With a long weekend and one of our favourite festivals right here, we get to see celebs be us for a day. Bollywood celebs leave no stone unturned to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi every year and the festivities this year have begun. Vivek Oberoi was seen bringing home a Ganesha idol while Sanjay Dutt’s son was also spotted welcoming Bappa home. In fact, Sanjay was seen performing an aarti with Manyata. This Ganesh Chaturthi is more special for Sanjay, courtesy his comeback film, Bhoomi. The actor has sung the Ganesh aarti in this film which the director believes will be a super hit.
Well, Bollywood songs related to Ganesha have always been a super hit in our country and we totally agree with the director on this. In fact, Dutt had expressed how much singing the Ganesh aarti in Bhoomi means to him. He said, “If you have seen the trailer, it starts with Jai Ganesh. It is also a very important part in the film. We all sat down and decided that we should make a song which depicts this main part of the film. The training is going on, right now I am learning how to sing the song. I am not a singer. The song has to be sung very beautifully, so I am trying my best to sound better. I am a bit nervous, but let’s see.”
He had also added, “We celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi at my house. We worship him a lot, so I feel lucky that I have the chance to sing this song for him.” Vivek Oberoi, on the other hand, has more reasons to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi this year with his Tamil debut film, Vivegam, getting such a grand opening at the US box office.
