Ranveer Singh Ends His Love Affair With His Beard With A Heavy Heart

There is never a dull moment when Ranveer Singh is around. Bollywood’s zaniest actor, trimmed his pet beard, that he had grown for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmavati, LIVE ON INSTAGRAM TODAY. His latest posts tell us that the actor is not very happy to part with his beard. And, we can understand his pain because it has always been tough for boys to get rid of their beards as they take their own sweet time to grow and in Ranveer’s case it must be even more heart breaking as he had been sporting it since last year.

If you are wondering why did he suddenly trim his facial hair, then let me tell you that he has done it for the same reason that he had grown it for – Padmavati. Ranveer is now moving on to the next phase of the film’s shoot, where he will be shooting the scenes of young Allaudin Khilji. Ranveer is giving his 200% on the character, which is being hailed as the toughest role of his career.

Talking about his role in Padmavati, he said in a recent interview, “What a guy! Can’t believe he does the things he does, he is an appalling human being. You can’t even call him a human being, call him a ‘haivaan’. You would love to hate him. You will be like, ‘I hate this person how can he be this way, how can anybody be this way, is there no compassion.’ He’s a hard guy.”
