Sonam kapoor likes being brutally honest as she feels that is the nicest thing to do.
Fashionista as we know her, Sonam Kapoor also has another side to her, which is being blunt and unapologetic for her statements that have often embroiled her in controversies. Thousands of fans follow her on various social media platforms and idolise her for her fashion sense and also, her personality. And with all of it, this year, she has also got applause for her performance in Neerja.
While we know so much about her, none of us have any clue about what has inspired her to be what she is. A lot of us must have thought that she is somebody who religiously follows fashion blogs and magazines but to our and everyone’s surprise, Sonam has got her inspiration from Bhagavad Gita. In an interview, Sonam spoke about the reason for this, “It speaks about Dharma and Adharma. What is the right thing to do and what is the wrong thing to do. Sometimes when you do the right thing you get a lot of flak for it. But eventually, it will pay you back in the long run.”
On being asked if that is the reason why she is brutally honest, the Neerja actor said. “I don’t think honesty is ever brutal. I think it is the kindest thing to do for someone.” Well, we kind of agree with her, do you?
On the work front, there are rumours that the actor will be working in R. Balki’s next project. Meanwhile, she is waiting to begin the shoot of her film, Veerey Di Wedding, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan.
