A child cannot do without mother, says Shahid Kapoor

Shahid kapoor is surely enjoying every moment of his fatherhood. The actor keeps sharing pictures of his wife Mira and daughter Misha on his Instagram account. When asked if the actor still needs his wife’s help with the child, Shahid said that a mother is the most important person in a child’s life.

“I don’t think any child can do without the mother. The mother, without any doubt, is the most important person in a child’s life, ” said Shahid during an interview with Hindustan Times. However, the actor does lend a huge support as a father.

“In cricketing nomenclature, while the first to eleventh positions are taken by the mother, I can become the 12th man (laughs). Toh mein hamesha ready rehta hoon (so I’m always ready). Even if I’m not needed, I’m available,” the actor was quoted in the interview.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor has to look like a warrior in his upcoming directorial venture Padmavati, and the actor has created a makeshift gym in his vanity van to be regular with his workout regime. In Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s period drama, Shahid essays the role of Raja Ratan Singh, the husband of Padmavati.

Actress Deepika Padukone will be seen in the titular role. According to a press release, the star, who is shooting for the film in odd hours, was not getting time to hit the gym and decided to create a personal workout space with basic equipment.
