Woahhh! Rajinikanth And Akshay Kumar's 2.0 Has Been Cut - Here's Why!
While everyone is gushing about akshay kumar, rajinikanth and amy jackson‘s 2.0, the director – Shankar has been working round the clock to finish all the work on time. And looks like after seeing the first cut of the whole film, the director wasn’t impressed! Apparently, he felt it was too long for a 3D film and hence, he has decided to cut down on the runtime of Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar’s 2.0. As a trade source revealed to DNA After Hrs, “Shankar has decided to reduce the run time of the film. He doesn’t want it to be too lengthy. While Robot or Enthiran clocked in a little over three hours, 2.0 will only be two-hours-and-20-minutes long. In fact, this will be Shankar’s shortest film till date. The makers have done this keeping in mind that the film is in 3D, and it might be tiring for the audience to sit through the format for so long. Therefore, the team decided to make the film shorter and crisper.”
In the meantime, 2.0 had a grand audio launch at the Burj Gardens in Dubai recently and we have to say we were amazed. Not only were the visuals out of the world, but the music is fantastic. And with more promos of this futuristic, 3D film lined up, we can’t wait to see more. The teaser is all set to release in November and the trailer by December. So stay tuned to here as we get you all the dope about 2.0 right here!
In the meantime, there have been reports that 2.0might be postponed once again and will now release on April 13, 2018 (Tamil New Year). This is because of the fact that a lot of CG work is pending. Anyway, what do you think about Shankar’s move to chop 2.0?
