Chapter 2 of KGF is gearing up for release in 2020 and the makers are yet to lock the release date of the film. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the first part was a solid hit and raked in great numbers at the box office. The shooting is under way at Cyanide Hills in Kolar Gold Fields which Yash is part of too. However, the makers of KGF are now forced to halt the shooting after a court orders it to do so. The Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) court in the mine region has passed an interim order to stop the shooting of the film and the makers were forced to do so. This order by the court comes after one Srinivasa, a local resident, filed a petition stating that the makers of KGF are causing environmental damages while shooting for the film. The makers of the film are yet to react on this matter, however, the shooting of the film has been halted for now.
Directed by Prashanth Neel, the second chapter will be the closing for the mystery behind the throne of the gold fields showed in the first part. Ever since the first part went on floors, reports have been doing rounds that few Bollywood stars will be part of it. It is already confirmed that sanjay dutt will be seen playing a key role in the sequel. Reportedly, Raveena Tandon will also be seen in a strong role in the film which is yet to be confirmed. According to emerging reports, Raveena would be seen playing the role of Indira Gandhi in KGF Chapter 2, a role which was shown briefly in the first part.
KGF is directed by Prashant Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner of Hombale Films. Besides Yash, KGF stars Srinidhi Shetty as the leading lady and will mark her debut in films. Veteran actor Anant Nag will be seen playing a key role in the film as well.
