After months of speculation, fan theories and anticipation, the Avengers 4 trailer is finally expected to drop later today. Here’s our list of what you WILL and WON’T see in the superhero ensemble film.

Avengers 4 trailer expect to hit the web today

The first trailer for Avengers 4officially called Avengers: Endgame, has arrived, celebrating Marvel’s 10-year achievement in building its Cinematic Universe.

Seems just yesterday that fans were heartbroken with tears in their eyes as they walked out of the theatres after watching Avengers: Infinity War. For those unaware, the climax of the film took fans by surprise as Thanos snapped his finger and caused the unthinkable. Since then all fans could do was speculate, anticipate and tirelessly wait to see the next installment of this epic saga. And it seems like it’ll finally be here today. According to reports, the first trailer for Avengers 4 is set to hit the web later today.

As fellow fans, we wanted to carry on the speculations and theories as to what we will and what we won’t get to see in the first trailer of Avengers 4:
The dusted characters won’t feature – Not that this should be a surprise for anyone. After all, characters like Spider-Man, Black Panther, Vision, Dr. Strange, etc will be all honky dory and throwing one-liners in the first trailer itself. They are dead, remember? We doubt if any of the dusted characters or the ones killed before the dusting would feature in this trailer.

The secondary superheroes – While there are some secondary superheroes who survived the dusting, such as Rocket Racoon, Nebula, and others, but we doubt if the trailer will focus on them either. In fact, it is unlikely that they’ll get any screen-time as the makers would like to keep the focus confined to the original Avengers – all of whom survived (Hawkeye not withstanding).

Hawkeye and Ant-Man – Whether the trailer will delve into the quantum realm too is unlikely. If rumours are to be believed, the beginning half of the trailer would probably focus on the destruction caused by Thanos’ snap and the repercussions that followed all with a somber score in the background. And the second half will most-likely focus of Captain America trying to figure a way to get back the dusted with the rest of the Avengers while Tony trying to bring himself back to Earth from Titan.

Captain America and Iron Man reunion – This is another scenario that is unlikely to be shown in the trailer. If you recall, the last time the two characters were face-to-face, they were knocking the chocolate out of each other. And even in Infinity War, the two characters didn’t meet. We doubt if Marvel will show them working together in the trailers at all.

Time Travel – While the most popular fan theory has been about time travel, even if it is true, we won’t get to see it in the trailers. What we could get is flashbacks, which hint at time travel but doesn’t confirm anything. Don’t expect to understand the plot of the film with the first trailer.

Threat greater than Thanos – While there are many rumours that in Avengers 4, there is a threat which is even greater than the Mad Titan, but we doubt if the trailer will throw any light on this secondary villain. Be rest assured that for The Avengers at this point, have a bone to pick with Thanos first.
It’s a journey through everything that’s happened over the last decade — from Tony Stark’s first jaunt as Iron Man to the devastating battle against Thanos

in Avengers: Infinity War, which was released earlier this year. Many of Earth’s mightiest heroes are still dealing with the loss of their close friends who faded into dust during Infinity War’s most climactic moment.

Marvel has kept details about Avengers: Endgame under wraps since it began shooting last year, but the trailer does tease a little more of what’s to come in the heroes’ last stand against Thanos.

Avengers 4 marks the final film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s current generation. It comprises 22 films, including Spider-Man: Homecoming and the upcoming Captain Marvel. Avengers 4 will reportedly be the last Marvel movie for some key actors, including Chris Evans, who seemingly bid farewell to his character, Captain America, earlier this year on Twitter. Other original Avengersactors, including Robert Downey Jr., Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and Chris Hemsworth haven’t said if they’re leaving following Avengers: Endgame.

Avengers: Endgame will be released on April, earlier than expected. It’s preceded by Captain Marvel, and it will be followed by Spider-Man: Far From Home.
