Seema Raja Collections: Sivakarthikeyan proves his power at the box office yet again – here’s how

Actor Sivakarthikeyan s latest release Seema Raja is going great guns at the box office and has also been receiving terrific response from audience across Tamil Nadu. And, probably, the first ever time, the producers have officially announced the first day collections of the film and the numbers are mind-boggling. Seema Raja has earned a collection of Rs 13.5 crore from 550 screens across Tamil Nadu which is the highest ever for a Sivakarthikeyan film. With the first day clocking a mammoth number, it is expected that the numbers will only get better over the weekend and Sunday.

The mass-commercial film has opened to good reviews on day one, however, received mixed reviews from critics which seems to have had minimal impact on the collections of the film.

The trailer and the release day posters of Seema Raja had set the hype for the release of the film resulting in the huge collections. Shows on Friday and over the weekend are said to be packed houses which may result in the film clocking more numbers at the box office. Audience seems to be highly impressed with the flashback episodes in the film which takes the story back to period-era. The VFX works in Seema Raja too seem realistic and manage to create a good impact, audience felt.
