Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are getting married. Yes, let that sink in. We have been doling out details about their Italian wedding since quite sometime. And now that the date has been finalised to be November 20, 2018, we can’t keep calm. Obviously we want to know every thing about their impending wedding. It is, after all, not everyday that a high-profile celebrity couple ties the knot, right?
So, the latest we are hearing is that preparations for the wedding are on in full swing. Both the families are rushing around to ensure that their shopping is done in time. Since the wedding will be taking place at Lake Como in Italy, it is imperative that the families will want to do all their shopping here. And it seems like they have decided to start off by buying the most important things for an Indian wedding – jewellery. But what surprises us is that instead of the traditional gold or the more in-trend platinum, the couple’s families are picking up silver jewellery. But we are sure they have their reasons to opt for silver. We are also quite curious to know what will the couple wear on their big day. Surely the designers have already been commissioned to work on their attires by now. Perhaps the silver is to match with their outfits. Well, we can only guess at this point.

However, we are sure that they will plan a bash or two for their friends and industry folks back in India, just like Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma had done last year. From what we hear they are already planning an event in Mumbai.
In fact, if insider scoop is anything to go by, they’re following in the footsteps of Virushka and have finalized a beautiful, exotic location in Italy for their European destination wedding. According to Filmfare, the duo will exchange the wedding vows at Lake Como in Italy. The source close to the leading magazine said, “Both Ranveer and Deepika were keen on having a destination wedding in Italy and they have finalised Lake Como as their wedding destination. The place is dotted with exquisite villas along the shoreline, which is why both of them decided to wed in this beautiful place.” In the past, many Hollywood celebrities including the likes of George Clooney, Jessica Biel and Tom Cruise have said ‘I do’ at the same the same venue. SIGH.
While Deepika and Ranveer have never announced their relationship publicly, it doesn’t take rocket science to see through their sparkling chemistry and adorable Insta PDA. While we’re sure the preparations are in full swing, the wait to see their fairytale romance culminate into marriage seems longer than ever! Although, we have already started imagining DP in her bridal avatar, it goes without a say that she will exceed our expectations.
