We earlier shared with you pictures of Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli from the Mumbai airport. They were headed towards New Delhi to attend the annual BCCI awards. Now, pictures from the award ceremony are out and we realised we are just as much in love with the couple as we were on their wedding day. The adorable smiling pictures of the couple are going viral on the internet. It was a very special occasion for the couple, as Virat was being conferred with Polly Umrigar Award for being the best international cricketer for the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.

Virat had a brilliant 2016-17 season as he went on to score 1332 runs in 13 games with an average of 74. In the limited overs format, the Delhi batsman amassed 1516 runs in 27 games at an average of 84.22. In 2017-18, Kohli scored 896 runs at an average of 89.6 in six Test matches while in ODIs he averaged 75. An extraordinary performance like that certainly needs to be celebrated and awarded. Anushka will be next seen in Zero. The movie is being directed by Aanand L Rai. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, essaying the role of a dwarf, and Katrina Kaif, essaying the role of a movie star. This will be the actors’ second movie together after Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Recently, Anushka accepted the #HumFitTohIndiaFit challenge thrown at her by Virat. But more than the video, it was the endearing name that the actress gave her husband which got our attention. She called him Bubz! Ah, the best couple award should totally go to these two!

In an interview, Virat had lovingly talked about his wife and said, “I have realised a lot of things in the past few years since I’ve been with my wife. Because she is a very spiritual person and I have sort of drifted on that path as well. Now things are unlocking in a way that is very difficult for me to explain to people. But I understand that I was always meant to do this. If I am meant to do this in every lifetime of mine, I will do it 100 times over. It’s a blessing.”
