This is Anushka's first birthday after getting married to Virat
Anushka Sharma is celebrating her 30th birthday today (May 1), and while she is bombarded with lots of sweets messages and gifts on her special day, we are sure her husband and cricketer Virat Kohli have planned something really special for his lady love especially because it’s her first birthday after they got married. The way Virat wished Anushka today just says it all. He took to Twitter to post a lovely picture of him feeding the birthday cake to Anushka. While the picture is adorable, we cannot help but notice the equally adorable caption on the cake, which reads, “Happy birthday my love”.

Virat and Anushka got married on December 11 last year in Tuscany, Italy. While some fans already knew, but many were surprised when the couple confirmed their wedding by sharing a photo and a statement on social media. “Today we have promised each other to be bound in love forever. We are truly blessed to share the news with you. This beautiful day will be made more special with the love and support of our family of fans & well wishers. Thank you for being such an important part of our journey (sic),” read the statement.
Anushka’s tweet became the golden tweet of the year and the photos from their wedding receptions (they hosted two, in Delhi and Mumbai) went viral. From PM Narendra Modi to who’s who of Bollywood and cricket world, everyone was in attendance.
