Shruti Haasan to star opposite Ravi Teja in Amar Akbar Anthony
While Shruti Haasan is currently shooting for a family drama with Mahesh Manjrekar opposite Vidyut Jamwal, she has landed another project. This time, it’s opposite Ravi Teja! Yes, the gorgeous actress is reuniting with her Balupu co-star as per reports on DNA. Fans sure must be excited! She is one of the female leads in this film. The same report reveals that Anu Emmanuel of Naa Peru surya fame will be the second female lead. The third female lead is expected to be finalised soon!
The last time Shruti and Ravi Teja had come together was for Bulupu in 2013. The film was directed by Gopichnad and was declared a super hit. Apart from receiving positive reviews, it proved to be a grand commercial success. It’s no wonder fans are excited about this reunion.
Amar Akbar Anthony is touted to be a high octane actioner that also promises romance. Ravi Teja will be seen in a triple role and each of his characters will be romancing a different leading lady. The project promises to a total massy entertainer. The project will be Srinu Vaitala. The project is currently underway in the US!
The last time Telugu cinema witnessed a triple role was in Jai Lava Kusa starring Jr NTR. The Telugu superstar was lauded for his credible performance. The movie turned out to become one of the biggest hits of 2017. The movie also starred Rashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas.
