We cannot take our eyes off Sonam in this beautiful ivory lehenga which she wore at the red carpet of Cannes Film Festival 2018
The moment we all we were waiting for finally arrived as Sonam Kapoor descended on the red carpet of the ongoing Cannes Film Festival 2018 in a custom made Ralph & Russo lehenga with intricate silver work. After Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s stunning appearances, all eyes were on Sonam, who slayed without even trying. This was her first red carpet appearance as a married woman, and what better way than to get your favourite designer duo to design the outfit. Talking about the look, we especially love that drape, mimicking a dupatta. Braided hair with a ‘jada choti’ by Amrapali, highlighted eyes and nude make-up with statement earrings by Chopard completed her look. The henna on her hand from her wedding also became a part of her look. It might have stopped her form wearing an elegant gown, but hey, we are definitely not complaining.

She has been styled by her sister Rhea Kapoor (who isn’t accompanying her this time) and Deep Kailey. Sonam Kapoor flew out of India last night minus her husband Anand Ahuja. This is Sonam’s eight appearance at the Cannes Film Festival. She will walk the red carpet tonight and on Tuesday. She is representing a cosmetic giant, the same one that hosted Deepika and Aishwarya at the festival this year.
