Sonam Kapoor got married to Anand Ahuja in a traditional Sikh ceremony on May 8. Their social media posts during the wedding ceremonies used the hashtag #EverydayPhenomenal. The hashtag went viral and fans started using it right away to describe them. Many even started using the hashtag in their personal posts. Well, if you are wondering about the origins of this hashtag, Anand has now explained it on his Instagram page.
Anand, while sharing a picture of himself with Sonam, wrote, ‘Everyday Phenomenal’ is inspired by a poem by Emily Dickinson. The meaning & notion behind #everydayphenomenal is best described by this poem, one of my favourites, below: “Who has not found the heaven below, Will fail of it above. God’s residence is next to mine, His furniture is love.”#EmilyDickinson (sic)” The entrepreneur further added, “#EverydayPhenomenal reminds @sonamkapoor of the importance of appreciation, positivity, and gratitude…that happiness is not something you get, it’s something you are.” Fans would have never guessed that a beautiful poem is the idea behind the quirky hashtag!

“#MahatmaGandhi taught us that our words become our actions which in turn become our habits, our values and ultimately our destiny,” Anand wrote. What a great thought, right? Do you have any words that describe you and your beliefs? Share with us in the comments below.
On the work front, Sonam is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film – Veerey Di Wedding. The movie also stars Kareena Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. It’s a film about four girls and their different journeys in life. The film is directed by Shashanka Ghosh.
