Rana Daggubati is all praises for Ram Charan - Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Rangasthalam.

Summer 2018 began with the release of the much awaited Rangasthalam. Directed by Sukumar, the film featured star couple Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Ever since its release on March 30th, fans, celebs, critics haven’t stopped praising the film for Sukumar’s realistic depiction of the rural scene in the 80s, for Ram Charan’s ace act as Chitti Babu, for Samantha’s innocent act as Rama Lakshmi. Apart from glowing reviews, the movie has been faring phenomenally at the box office as well. The latest celeb to gush about the film is Rana Daggubati. The movie after all stars his closest friend, Ram Charan. He has taken to Twitter to praise the film in detail – Back in India…and the first thing I did!! Watched the amazing #RamCharan at his best in #Rangasthalam. #ChittiBabu. Lovely film with terrific detail and production design…Sukku really took us back in time, and some phenomenal performances by #RamCharan @Samanthaprabhu2 #Aadi @IamJagguBhai #Rangasthalam.@Samanthaprabhu2 you were so good well done again. Grandmom watched it twice for you 😉 Apart from Rana Daggubati, Ra Charan to be co-star, Jr NTR was also found praising the film on social media.

Just saw #Rangasthalam. Hats off to you Charan. You truly deserve all the applause and accolades that you are getting. Take one from me too,No one could have done it better #Respect. Kudos to director Sukumar Garu for his gutsy and brilliant direction. Takes courage to stay true to the vision of making a raw and rustic emotional period drama. Hats off to you sir. Congratulations to @Samanthaprabhu2 , @ThisIsDSP , @MythriOfficial and each and everyone in the team of #Rangasthalam. The movie wouldn’t be what it is if not for your excellence. You have all done a brilliant job.

The movie is not only creating waves in Tollywood but also at the Tamil Nadu Box office. Considering there have been no new releasing owing to the Tamil Cinema strike, Rangasthalam has taken centre stage. The film is also faring brilliantly at the overseas market. In two days, it has entered the list of top 10 highest grossing Telugu films in America. Here’s what our reviewers at Astarcineplex had to say about Rangasthalam – The film has quite a few takeaways. The biggest ones are the performances. Ram Charan leads the pack with his swag, attitude and body language infusing life into the hot headed, naughty but emotional Chittti Babu. Samantha Akkineni gets into the skin of the village belle Ramalaxmi and is the queen of expressions. She is a delight to watch in the song Rangama Mangama.
