If you thought Mijwan 2018 is going to be all about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone’s reunion and an effort to rekindle their chemistry then you are mistaken. While the former lovers did ensure that they looked heavenly in their beautiful Manish Malhotra creations, it was Ranbir’s final speech that won over the audience to such an extent that even Deepika was left in a state of awe. Considering Mijwan is an annual philanthropic event that celebrates women empowerment, Ranbir dedicated the night to his mom Neetu Kapoor who was right there cheering for him from the front row. He said, “My mom always said a man is as good as the amount of respect he shows a woman. A man is as good as the space he gives his wife, daughter, sister, mother to be whoever she wants to be.
