The moment we have been waiting for is here! The much awaited, much anticipated, much talked about Veerey Di wedding trailer is here! After teasing us with fun, funky posters, the promo is out. After watching it, we can’t find just one word to describe it. It’s fun, funny, heart warming, silly and an absolute ride. Right from scene one where Shikha takes Sonam’s case to the end where they all are seen having a blast – This is movie looks like an adventure we all want to be part of. It feels so good to see Kareena Kapoor back on the silver screen. As usual she is in her elements with the others – Sonam, Swara and Shikha perfectly complementing her. We got to admit that Kareena Kapoor has impeccable comic timing. She isn’t afraid to look silly or be it either. The movie will make you laugh, will make you cry and will make you realise what a gem, friendship is. While we can continue to gush about this trailer, let’s highlight the five moments from it that we can watch on loop

Dancing in the club – The is the scene where all four of them cut loose. They let go and have a blast. It also gives us an idea of how different and distinct each of them are! At the end of it, this is one unique gang and there’s something to each of them.

The proposal – The scene where Rishab ( Sumeet Vyas) proposes Kalindi Puri ( Kareena Kapoor) is hilarious because what should have been a romantic moment turns out hilarious as Kalindi is hiding in the bathroom and is asking Rishab why he had to do is and he is standing outside, confused! This proposal scene is unlike any we have seen.

The announcement – Post the proposal scene, the four of them get together on SKYPE to officially announce that their Veerey’s wedding is happening! This is the defining moment Veerey Di wedding finally takes off!

Wedding Prep – If the proposal was funny, then you will be splits at all the wedding prep. Kareena is seen dressed in a glittery gown with a tiara on top and her mother in law can’t stop gushing about her princess look, while Kareena is scarred about the fact she will now be called Mrs Malhotra. The Sangeet night turns out to be a loud, dramatic and full of corny elements, so much so their ‘moon swing’ breaks and Rishab is thrown off it.

Friendship – While certain moments will  leave you in splits, the strong bond these four share is heart warming. This unusual friendship between four friends who lead completely different lives is the underlying theme of this wedding and we love that the most!
