This is pure nostalgia
There are many who miss the days when TV content was rich and makers had emotionally moving stories to tell instead of the saas – bahu dramas and stupid supernatural stuff. Actress Renuka Shahane who has been recently in the news for her insightful perspective into current topics but a picture on Instagram that brought back so many memories. The actress was seen posing with her Circus co-star Shah Rukh Khan and Sailaab actor Sachin Khedekar. It really took us back to the golden days of Indian TV. We know that Circus and Sailaab were two extremely successful shows and had huge fan following.
Circus was directed by Aziz Mirza and Kundan Shah where SRK and Renuka were romantically paired opposite each other. He was the owner of the circus, Shekharan while her character’s name was Maria. In Sailaab, Renuka and Sachin Khedekar were in top form. On the show, they were lovers who drifted apart due to circumstances. Later, they meet after many years and start a platonic relationship. In February 2017, there was news that Circus would see a re-run on Doordarshan. Everyone was very happy and asked the channel to show Fauji as well. Stay tuned to here for more updates….
